TEPLEX material has a number of competitive advantages in roof insulation. It cuts back on the number of structural layers and process operations, protects other materials against external adverse impact and reduces the dead load. TEPLEX material heat conductivity coefficient is lower than that of regular rigid mineral-wool boards. High strength and rigidity of our XPS foam boards enable roofing without back and solid coat application.
TEPLEX material is irreplaceable in construction of inversion roofs which major advantage is an option of the roof surface operation. Low heat-conductivity and high frost resistance, high compressive strength and small deformation, as well as low water absorption and high biological stability of extruded foam polystyrene ensure long operating life of inversion roofs which find application in parking lots, lawn maintenance and walk areas construction.
Application of corrugated boards together with TEPLEX material is another way to make roofing secure and long-lasting. This design concept helps shorten the working period and avoid usage of heavy-duty mechanisms.
TEPLEX material is also used for thermal insulation of existing roofs. XPS foam boards are laid directly onto the old roof without waterproof membrane removal and coupling renovation.
