TEPLEX extruded foam polystyrene is successfully used in private housing construction, particularly:

Insulation under trusses protects roofs against temperature and moisture drop. Special tongue&groove edge type provides continuous insulation effect which helps avoid supplementary water and vapor proofing. Insulation under trusses is essential in modernization of attic-floor rooms. In this case, boards are mechanically mounted so, that they make an even surface.

TEPLEX material can be applied to upper floor ceiling joists; in this case XPS boards are laid onto the floor of uninhabitable attics.  Roof insulation at which insulating blanket is laid atop waterproofing membrane, protects it against mechanical and thermal effects. Membrane and roof temperature is maintained close to the inner temperature of the building which prevents condensation.

Interior wall insulation is recommended where exterior insulation is impossible. This kind of construction requires the usage of embossed boards for the sake of better adhesion between the board and the faced tile. In case of insulation of inserted floors in heated and unheated spaces, XPS boards are laid directly on the structural floor with the monolithic flooring put afterwards. A three-layer insulation with a core insulating layer is considered to be one of the most economic modes of energy saving.

Basement wall insulation

First floor insulation

Floors of heated spaces basements are contiguous to the ground and thus, should be protected from heat flow through the ground. TEPLEX extruded foam polystyrene is moisture resistant and can be laid under the waterproof membrane without its performance drop.

Cold joints insulation

Doorways, windows, overhanging building parts, corners, etc. are generally weak points of the building construction. TEPLEX extruded polystyrene prevents the in- and out- heat flow, keeping your place warm and cozy.
